DJ Whitecoat, the name that seems to ring bells more and more as the year progresses, firstly with his track Never Miss, being signed to Kicks N Snares, then his Summer Sampler which was on heavy rotation on a lot of London’s underground radio stations, but then came the cherry on top, Roska’s UK Funky remix of How Does It Feel; receiving support on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse Fm, and still isn’t done picking up momentum.

Back again with another sure fire remix, this time courtesy of RKS label mate and Rinse FM selector, DJ Polo, who does a great job on his polished remix of Riddim, giving the track an extended lease of life in 2019. Whether it’s vocal or instrumental Funky that takes your fancy, this naughty roller right here will sit nicely in any given UK Funky or lively House set. Needless to say we’re very chuffed at Sun Tribe Terrace to finally have something by DJ Polo on the buttons, on our label.

Originally produced in the summer of 2012 by DJ Whitecoat featuring vocalist Jae Elle, the track had a lot underground traction, as well as major support from DJ Pioneer on Kiss 100 and Ricky Simmonds formerly DJ RSI, on Ministry of Sound Radio, the track sat in the Ministry of Sound chart for 18 weeks and was also featured on the front page of the MOS website, but it didn’t stop there! Riddim even got a Grime touch up from none other than Grime legend, DJ Spooky.
